You think it would be a poor scenario for a third class soap opera, but no...: that's for real!...The mother of an 18-year-old man who plans to marry Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's pregnant daughter, Bristol, has been arrested on drug charges, authorities said on Friday.
Sherry Johnston, 42, was taken into custody at her home in Wasilla, on Thursday after an "undercover" narcotics investigation, Alaska State Troopers said in a statement. I guess someone will claim again it was politically motivated... For what? "Vote Trailer Trash" maybe?... LOL
She faces six counts of misconduct involving a controlled substance, said trooper spokeswoman. She was released on $5,000 bail shortly after her arrest. I guess they weren't going to ask her $10 millions, it woulb be a bail to nowhere... All the charges are felonies.

The trooper spokewoman declined to release any further information about the case, saying police needed to protect the investigation.... I wonder why?... another "troopergate" in perspective.
So let me see... her daughter conceived outside wedlocks, she is pregnant from a kid who may marry her this next summer, and the mom of this kid is a Drug adict and a felon... Nice family ugh?
But there is no surprise here when not so long ago you could witness...
Can't wait for 2012 and have a good laught again....BTW, she wouldn't be that evil to manage to through her own daughter "may to be mother in law" in jail, just to stay in the spot lights of the media?.... noooo....

I have stated several times that had President-elect Obama's daughters been a little older and one of them turned up pregnant during the campaign the right wingnuts would have had a field day claiming Obama didn't have the morals to run the country. For dear Sara they gave her a pass.
Now to have Bristol's future husband's mom arrested for drugs well the right wing will sweep that under the rug as well.
